Magnolia Bloom

Magnolia Bloom

A New Chapter in Classic Style: For a pair of longtime clients entering a new chapter as empty nesters, Yates Desygn reimagined tradition with a lighter, more modern sensibility. From the ground up, the Dallas-based firm worked in close collaboration with the architect to shape a 3,500-square-foot home that feels gracious, tailored, and entirely suited to everyday living.

Leaving behind the formality of their previous residence, the clients wanted a home that balanced classic roots with a softer, streamlined aesthetic. Yates Desygn answered with thoughtful architectural detailing, intuitive flow between spaces, and interiors that emphasize comfort without compromising sophistication. A serene palette layered with rich textures and refined finishes lends a sense of quiet cohesion throughout.

Designed with the future in mind, the home incorporates subtle universal design principles to ensure it will gracefully support its owners for years to come. With three bedrooms, three-and-a-half baths, and welcoming entertaining areas, the result is a warm, personal retreat—one that honors the past while embracing the ease of contemporary Southern living.
