Location: Dallas, TX
Employment Type: Full time – est 40hrs / week
Salary Range – $60,000 – $70,000
The Opportunity
This role is for someone who genuinely enjoys being the calm, capable force behind beautifully executed projects.
As Procurement Coordinator at Yates Desygn, you’ll play a critical role in turning design intent into reality. You’ll be trusted to manage the moving parts that sit between specification and installation, ensuring furniture, lighting, materials, and custom pieces arrive as expected, on time, through follow-up, and finish out. Your work directly supports the quality, confidence, and consistency our clients expect from us.
This is a full-time position designed for someone who values flexibility but still wants to be deeply connected to the work. You’ll collaborate closely with designers, vendors, and partners, with the autonomy to run your lane and the support of a team that values clarity, accountability, and doing things properly the first time.
If you take pride in organization, communication, and follow-through, and you like knowing that your behind-the-scenes work makes everything else possible, this role will feel both satisfying and meaningful.
The Role
The Procurement Coordinator is responsible for managing end-to-end purchasing across multiple projects, from initial quotes through delivery and installation support.
You’ll own the procurement workflow using Studio Designer, preparing purchase orders, tracking proposals and invoices, and maintaining accurate purchasing records. You’ll communicate regularly with vendors, workrooms, freight carriers, and installers to confirm pricing, lead times, and delivery schedules, proactively identifying and resolving issues before they impact the project.
This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organization, and the ability to juggle multiple timelines at once. You’ll provide clear status updates to the design team, flag delays or discrepancies early, and help keep projects moving smoothly through every phase.
The role includes in-studio collaboration in Dallas, ensuring strong alignment with the team and visibility into active projects. You’ll also support general procurement and administrative needs as they arise, contributing to the operational excellence that underpins every Yates Desygn project.
