Lilac Lane

The Yates Desygn team was brought on to create a home office space that perfectly combines form and function. Largely inspired by a Mid-Century Modern aesthetic, the Yates team cleverly created movable, floor-to-ceiling shelving to hide three unsightly doors. The powder-coated steel shelving provides easy access to the closets beyond and allows them to be obscured for privacy. A wood and quartz desk seems to float along the opposite wall. The two materials were mitered together at two centimeters, creating a seamless appearance. The supple Eames chair was added to incorporate the color scheme found in the spaces beyond.
