Every Yates Desygn project is a collective effort – an orchestration of ideas, materials, and artistry. Our Kips Bay Dallas 2025 space was no exception. Bringing this vision to life required the hands, minds, and talents of extraordinary collaborators who transformed concept into craftsmanship, and craftsmanship into reality.

From hand-blown glass to custom furniture, textiles, and upholstery, these are the people and studios whose expertise made every detail possible. Carlyn Ray Designs
The Art of Hand-Blown Glass
Working with Carlyn Ray and her team allowed us to bring movement, color, and light into form. Their hand-blown glasswork captures a sense of fluidity that balances precision with artistry. Together, we developed a custom vase integrated into our coffee table design; a piece that quite literally anchors the space while celebrating the beauty of craftsmanship made by hand.
Holdfast
Craftsmanship Rooted in Heritage
Our collaboration with Holdfast Furniture centered on reinterpreting traditional woodworking through a modern lens.
Their mastery of joinery and detail brought several of our custom pieces – including both the stunning Vitrail and Intertwine Tables – to life.
Using time-honored techniques, each surface, inlay, and curve was crafted to embody the warmth and integrity of materials that will stand the test of time.
Vanguard
A Sofa Reimagined
For Kips Bay 2025, we re-envisioned the classic sofa through a partnership with Vanguard.
The result blends tailored upholstery with architectural presence — a piece that’s both sculptural and deeply comfortable.
Every proportion, seam, and stitch was refined to suit the room’s flow, reflecting our shared belief that form and function can coexist in perfect harmony.
