We’re delighted to announce that Yates Desygn, in collaboration with Helene’s Luxury Kitchens, has earned First Place – Residential: Industry Collaboration, alongside the prestigious Best in Show – Dallas: Residential honor at the 2025 Celebrating Design Texas Awards, presented by the ASID Texas Chapter. The submission features Bryan Yates, ASID Allied, and Helene Terry, ASID Affiliate.
A Unified, Statewide Celebration of Design
For 2025, ASID Texas consolidated its regional design competitions into one statewide event—the Celebrating Design Texas Awards. This annual competition recognizes outstanding achievement across the chapter, with all projects evaluated by an objective panel of judges from Arizona and California. To ensure fairness, designer identities were kept confidential during judging.
Highlighting The Good Life
Our winning project, The Good Life, is a sophisticated and inviting game room created in close collaboration with Helene Terry, whose cabinetry expertise played a pivotal role in the design’s success. The submission outlined the creative concept, detailed the challenges overcome, and highlighted the seamless collaboration that defined the process. Before-and-after photography showcased the transformation, from concept to completion, illustrating the room’s balance of elegance, function, and comfort.
