Southlake Oasis

Furnishing & styling by a preston hollow interior designer
Southlake Oasis

Love Where You Live—All Over Again: For these empty nesters, the right move was no move at all. They already loved their home—they just needed help seeing it in a new light. Yates Desygn was brought in to reimagine their 8,286-square-foot residence, honoring its history while giving it a fresh perspective for the next chapter.

The kitchen was opened to the family room to bring everyone together more naturally. The primary bath was completely reworked to make it more functional and comfortable. With help from an architect and builder, a few smart changes made the whole house feel lighter, more open, and more in tune with the way they live now.

Inspired by the surrounding landscape and a desire for something updated but deeply personal, Yates Desygn paired clean, transitional finishes with furnishings that already held meaning. Some pieces were reupholstered, others simply reimagined in a new setting. The result is a home that feels both fresh and familiar—full of light, warmth, and intention. It’s still theirs—just more than ever before.
